When one Tandoori Chicken lost to another

  I am a big fan of tandoori chicken and I regret not having Shiraz’s variant before. What was I thinking all this while? It happens when you become loyal to one brand and then think the world ends there. It’s my amateur loyalty towards a well-known Mughlai brand, that is to be blamed. I ate it, liked it and secured it a favourite label and then forgot about exploring any new destination to change my perception.  Anyways, enough of ranting.  An impromptu plan landed me at Shiraz’s Park Street outlet and I gave in to my hearts craving for Tandoori Chicken. It had been a while now and though chicken tikka and pyare kebabs featured on the plate often, the tandoori eluded me. It was time to pig out on my favourite chicken preparation which satiesfies my cravings more than a loaded pizza.  To be honest, I was a tad disappointed when I noticed the chicken missing its saffron profile. Piercing through slowly

Snowpiercer, the movie, is like an adaption of a book, while the series seems to be the novel itself that refreshes your imagination and makes you relish a well-written story bit by bit. Just like lazy sips of coffee. I watched the film, starring Chris Evans (not his fan, sorry), on the recommendation of a close friend, while I already had the series on my watch-list. (The trailer was arresting!) Directed by Bong Jon Ho, who also directed Academy Award-winning film Parasite, takes you on an express ride that finishes in two-hour six minutes. The series that streams episodes weekly, though lets you enjoy the story with a decent gap, it might distract you to other equally seductive series on the web platform. I binged watched the first two episodes and I am waiting for the third one as I write, and I can't agree more with Karan Johar when he says that digital platform is a writer's medium.
