Snowpiercer 2.0

When I wrote about Snowpiercer, the webseries, earlier after watching the film, little did I know how far the imagination of the makers would go. Now that I have completed Season 2 of the series I realised how the film had an abrupt ending. The train’s class system was mutilated with the tailes breaking free from the structure formed by Wilson and maintained by Melanee. But there was certainly more to the story; Snowpiercer carrying the last lot of humans had to have a last station to reach. 


In the series we ofcourse see Snowpiercer meeting Big Alice and Wilson coming back and capturing/controlling his beloved train leaving Melanee is the abyss of whites. The other obvious and fascinating development in the plot had to be the Earth getting back to its normal temperature. In the second season we see that happening with Melanee collecting the data. 

The third season will be the penultimate, I am guessing, with the Planet getting back to its normal temperature and Layton and his entourage connecting back with the rest of the train to reclaim their rights and Snowpiercer.

  No matter how irregular the headline of this blog might seem, it’s certainly less irregular then The Irregulars that I just binge-watched.  It was definitely the word ‘Sherlock’ that got me locked into the series but every episode I saw made me question the intention of the maker or his overzealous imagination. Before you start reading ahead I must caution you that there will be spoilers. So if The Irregulars is there in your watch-list you better shift this blog in your that list, just after the Tom Bidwell show.  Well blame my mind but it just found a similarity between Tom’s surname and the plot. Bidwell rhymes with farewell and yes that’s exactly what the creator has done to the magnetic character of Sherlock Holmes, created marvelously by Arthur Conan Doyle. Why even God could not save part 2 of Lucifer S5

  It’s not about why God could not save the second volume or the second instalment of season five of Lucifer helmed by the sexiest man, Tom Ellis. It is, in fact, God who killed the plot. At the end of the first volume of season one of Lucifer we see that God intervenes to stop the fight between his sons Michael, Amanadel and Lucifer and it is this intervention that costed the show. I am not sure if the writer was being too creative or he had lost it because the very first episode of the second volume seemed a joke with God coming down to the Earth and not just dining and cooking but becoming human! While some exchange dialogues between Lucifer and his dad God is note worthy and Dan meeting with God, every single time, made me laugh, nothing could save this episode. The height was when Linda counsels Lucifer and God. Imagine God getting counselled by a human. How absurd that could be?
